We've been firing on all cylinders in February. We're working on two HUGE features that we will be launching next month in Backpack v5. Plus, work on Backpack v6 has continued (which you'll have access to, if you've purchased 12 months before the launch, don't worry). But we've also made a few bug fixes, and launched a new free add-on for you. Let's quickly go through them:

Maintenance

First of all, YES, we do support Laravel 10. We're happy to say ALL our packages support L10, as of this moment 🎉

Since our last progress report, we've pushed to:

New Free Add-on: Download Operation

It's happened very often to us, to need a "Download PDF" button. It's one of those features that keeps coming back, and every time we needed it, we tried something else - a different PDF library, a different way to do it. We haven't been very happy with our result - after all, generating PDFs is notoriously tricky. Until now, that is! Thanks to Spatie's BrowserShot, for the past few years we've been generating PDFs... easily! So we've finally published an operation, to make it dead-simple for all Backpack admins to download PDFs, images etc of blade views.

Download Operation for Backpack

Check out this new backpack/download-operation, we think you'll love how easy it makes something that used to be complicated. More info on Github.

Stay tuned - I think you'll LOVE what we announce by the end of next month. Both Pedro and Jorge have been working on a few Backpack v5 features that... will make something else that was difficult... ridiculously easy.

Thanks for using Backpack. We love doing this for you. Cheers!
