Good news everyone! The new free upgrade to Backpack 4.0 is right around the corner. And I have to say... it is so so cool. I've never been happier with how I build admin panels. I think you'll feel the same way too.

You can see what's new by:

• browsing the Backpack 4.1 live demo;
• reading the 4.1 release notes;
• actually installing 4.1 in a new project;
• upgrading your project to 4.1-beta;

Please keep in mind - it's a beta. There might be a few bugs here and there, in which case we'd really appreciate if you open an issue on Github to let us know. We're currently testing and bug fixing it too, and polishing the documentation. We expect to launch it in 1-2 weeks after all the quirks are ironed out. You'll get an email from us then. But it's solid enough to handle your projects - we know, we're currently migrating a lot of projects to 4.1-beta. Including this refreshed backpackforlaravel.com.
