As an affiliate, you can promote Backpack using:

• discount coupon - where the buyer gets 20% discount, you get 20% reward;
• affiliate link - if new users register from your link within 30 days, you get:
  • 40% of their first purchase (if full-price and no discount coupon was applied);
  • 30% of their first purchase (if your discount coupon was also applied);
  • 10% of their first purchase (if a different discount coupon was applied);

Yes, that's right. You can combine your "affiliate link" with your "discount coupon":

• Use only ?ref=yyy - you get 40% reward, user gets 0% discount;
• Use both ?ref=xxx&coupon=yyy - you get 30% reward, user gets 20% discount;

Sounds awesome, right?! What's the catch? No catch. But terms & conditions do apply. Here's a summary of the most important ones:

How does the payout work? Once a month, we send an automatic email, telling you how much we owe you. Just reply to that email with an invoice, and we'll pay it. We can pay by card, PayPal and bank transfer. Minimum payout is 100 EUR.

How much can you expect to earn? You can expect to make an about €67 for each new person that purchases Backpack. How much you make every month... depends only on how many people you can bring to buy Backpack.

Who can join? Right now, you can join if:

• you have an existing developer audience (eg. a blog, a following on Twitter, a newsletter, a brand);
• you have a registered company or sole-proprietorship (so you can issue invoices);
